Anyone get their kids the Leapfrog Leapster or Leap pad games?
I am looking for feedback on both the Leapster and Leap pad games/books by Leapfrog, I have almost 4 yr old twins and want to get something like these for them for christmas…. which do you think is better? and was it worth the money to buy them? any complaints about them? thanks
I agree with one comment about not using it to completely teach them how to read, I read to them a lot everyday and they already know letter sounds, I mostly want something to supplement what they are being taught and to help reinforce trying to sound out things on their own as well
My kids both had them and loved them. They used them for a couple of years, which was good enough for me to feel they were a good value. Plus they are better for the kids than an actual video game. The Leapster is better I think. No complaints.
