Magnetic Animal
Can the metal in our brains be manipulated by radio waves?
I understand that birds and other animals use the metal in their brains to navigate. Some animals use it as an “internal compass” so they can return to their place of birth several years later.
Since people transmit radio-waves and other electro-magnetic waves, would that inhibit our ability to navigate or think?
That is a very interesting question, however, without researching the topic, I don’t know quite what to tell you.
I’m don’t really know what you’re talking about with the metal in animals brains. Perhaps the iron in the blood? I know certain animals have insanely high iron levels.
But, assuming humans do have some sort of metal in our brains…I doubt we could do much about it…here’s why.
Recently, scientists discovered (on accident) that if they shock a certain part of the brain, they can force you to recall past events to minute details…smells, colors of peoples shirts. Problem is, it’s random and seems to bring up the same image every time. Also, it’s not any significant event usually.
this research shows that it may be possible to resurect things from ones brain, but also shows that we are a long way off from getting to “the god stuff”
perhaps if you got a strong enough magnet, you could pull people around by the iron in the blood…not control the brain though.
