What do you think the best nintendo ds games are for my Autistic 4 year old?
Hi there, my little 4 year old Autistic boy loves his V tech v smile, but we have now bought (secondhand on ebay!) every game there is as he has a very short attention span. I think we are going to have to get him a ds just so we can get him new games…but we are going to have to buy quite a few (secondhand on ebay, we are not rich!!!) to start him off and i’m not sure which games would be the best. He cannot speak but loves all the puzzles and platform games on the vsmile. Thankyou for your help
If anyone else wishes to critisise a mother who has two autistic boys without first hand knowledge of bringing them up then would you please kindly keep your opinions to yourself, I have been made to cry once already this evening, thankyou
My daughter is 3 and she loves the DS. She’s not autistic, so I’m not sure if he would enjoy the same games, but she plays the Kai Lan (New Year Celebration) and Wonder Pet’s games. They’re both rated EC (early childhood) and are the only two I can find that are! They have simple puzzles and fun things, it’s great because they’re not too easy, but not too hard either…and they use all the features of the ds like the mic too (he’ll have to blow into the mic, and they tell you to say stuff, but if you press the right arrow it’ll bypass that)
